We can all feel anxious at times when leaving the safety of our home. However, if you have Agoraphobia (fear of being out in public) this might cause you significant anxiety.

Our 4 week Agoraphobia Program can help you deal with your underlying fears and anxiety. You will learn how to trust your own capacities, so you are in control of your life.

Your weekly, one-on-one sessions, will be done virtually and led by a Mental Health Professional.

Once registered our team of  intake counsellors will contact you within 24 hours to schedule your first session.

We can all feel anxious at times when leaving the safety of our home. However, if you have Agoraphobia (fear of being out in public) this might cause you significant anxiety.

Agoraphobia is often a by-product of Panic Disorder, because one is anxious about getting an anxiety attack in a space with many people.

Situations that trigger Agoraphobia can be different for each person.

Here are some places that can cause agoraphobia:

•Shops
•Supermarkets
•Restaurants
•Public transport

These situations can make you feel trapped, where you feel you can’t escape. Sometimes it can help if a friend/family member is present. However, often this will not be the case, meaning you instead try to avoid the situation.

Week 1: Understanding Agoraphobia
Week 2: What causes a Panic Attack
Week 3: Cognitive Distortions
Week 4: Dealing with uncertainty
